• Recommended carousel image size - 1920 x 600
• Recommended product image size - 1000px or 1200px wide x consistent height

Suggested Store Settings

Feel free to set most of the store settings according to your preferences. However, the following settings will optimize some of the built-in design elements.

Under Setup & Tools > Store Settings > Display

• Featured Products - 4, 8 or 12
• Product Per Page - 8, 12, 16 or 20

Under Setup & Tools > Store Settings > Images

• Storewide Thumbnail - 300 x 300
• Product Page Image - 500 x 500
• Product Page Thumbnail - your preference
• Product Zoom Image - 1280 x 1280
• Categories Per Row - 5
• Brands Per Row - 5
• Category Image Dimensions - 177 x 177
• Brand Image Dimensions - 177 x 177

Why are some of my theme images missing?

Some theme images (such as icons, arrows, etc.) on your Bigcommerce store are stored in a Master Folder on the server.

Editing your theme stylesheet or creating an images folder in template directory of your store will cause images load from that new folder. If the location doesn't contain all of the images, you will see image errors on your store.
